AFE intakes??

Is the AFE intake a SRI or CAI?

They state that it is a CAI but it looks like a SRI.

There are no CAI intakes for the 2IS.

There's the Joe Z and F-sport, which basically replace the stock intake tube with a smoother one.

The rest are all short rams (though some add a heat shield of some kind)

(oh, and there's that one that was like $800 they only sold like 3 of, the ARC intake I think)

Because they don't understand what a CAI is maybe? You'd probably have to ask them... but it's pretty clearly a short ram from the picture.

You'd have to cut through metal to get a real cold air intake on the 2IS, which is why nobody makes one.

I run a AEM on my IS350 proven Dino to be a 20rwhp gain. Ps how do you add a car to your garage on this form

Really?

We'd all love to see the before/after dynos... since the gain you're claiming is about 4 times the largest dyno gain from an intake ever shown on an IS350.

It's extra interesting since AEM only claims 11 hp (and even then they're lying about it and provide no dyno graphs).

You're the same fella that said his mechanic "unlocked" 35 hp by reprogramming ECT mode though, so...uh... yeah...

come on man, even their own website says its only an 11 whp gain, which I seriously doubt btw.

WoW.......i would love to see you dino on that intake and your ECT. So you have the most HP on an IS with your two new mods hahahaha....sorry bro i just dont beleave that.

if i get a takeda, will the engine covers all fit back? all the engine covers go back on with the aem intake, just wondering if it was the same for the takeda
