cold air intake

Default cold air intake

i was trying to look it up and got some weird results, so i wanted to carify and make sure before i pulled the trigger... do they really make a cold air intake, or just label is as a cold air intake but really its a short ram intake? please thanx for the clarification

Everything that I've seen is that they are literally the same, just one has a heat shield. They don't seem to be like other cars where the cold air goes into the fender-well for the extra cold air.

the second one.

The short rams are really -hot- air intakes for the most part.

Nobody makes a true cold air as it'd require cutting through the bumper support.

Coldest air you'll get without something custom is just put a Joe Z pipe on the stock airbox
