I've actually put about 5000 miles on it so far. Its just going under the knife for heads cam and other parts. At that time I will be building a perfect fitting set of prototype headers and finish test fitting the mounts.

Nobody seems to even bothered asking what I wanted to know from the very first picture... what is the weight distribution difference, what weight did you add to the car?

Quote: So I put the car on the scales last night and did a corner balance. I was suprized by how light it was 3280 with a half tank of gas.

Post number 15

I didnt put the car on the scales before the swap since I was short on time. I was still on stock suspension when I first put the ls1 in. My car was sitting around 3 inches higher in the front with the ls1 and bounced it pretty good for a week before swapping to the coil overs and it would never sag back down. I'm guessing since the engine itself is lighter and it sits behind the front wheels more than the 2jz this makes the front end quite a bit lighter.

I might have a chance soon to throw a stock IS300 on the scales for more hard data.
