IS350 Turbo Kit
I'm at least glad I'll be able to do some track events this year.
Celebrating Lexus & Toyota from Around the Globe
1) Use a 50/50 water methanol system, it will be needed because of the high compression and advanced timing. and get a big tank for the system, and make it bulletproof. It'll be needed. And since it slows the burn, retarding the timing, might just make the stock IS motor live.
2) keep the turbo sizing to a 60-1 (58mm turbo) the efficiency range is very high, and a really good size for the 3.5 motor. You can easily get 450-500rwhp on it, and fairly low boost. It's also a cheaper turbo, and will help keep the cost down 8-).
3) Set some sort of failsafe if the water/meth system fails to kill all boost or something. The liability of cooking the IS350 motor because of e flaw in the kit will be costly.
I figured out I could build an IS350 turbo kit, and even possibly deliver the power, but the risk is too high. Keep the components good quality, with lots of safely in mind. I think that running a water/meth setup will be the only way you get it to not have the computer be all pissed off at you 8-).

Check out this thread. We have delt with most of these issues on the IS F already.

But in reality, you're changing the car from the way Lexus built it. Would you expect them to pay for it, if you broke it because of too much power?
