TRD or better yet F-Sport should just make a supercharger that fits for the 350 and call it a day.

Don't make promises you can't keep now..

while i'll probably come under fire for this, and though as excited as i am about a 2is turbocharger kit (tepid, but excited nonetheless), just a few questions:

iirc, all elite autosport did was fix turbocharger.com's one-off turbo kit for the is-f? i mean, that's not wholly "elite autosport's" is-f twin turbo kit per se, is it? has elite autosports sold/installed turbo kits for other is-f's?

also, is ^ a bit of a stretch of credentials for "building from scratch" a turbo kit for the 2is?

don't get me wrong, i'm all for forced induction options. however, the careful cynicism is hard to avoid with so many promises given by others before this and not many promises delivered by any of them - if any at all.

anyways, continue to keep us updated.

^^^ If I remember correctly, Elite Autosport fixed that TT kit that was put on the IS-F from whatever shop (down in Texas) installed. Also if my reading is correct, they'd either sold or is selling that TT kit and custom fabricated their own onto that IS-F. They'd even pulled the motor and installed aftermarket parts onto it as well...

You are correct. "Currently" all we have done is fix an IS F that was making 449WHP when it came in, and is now making 552WHP with a tuning system that works. To date that customer has driven that car over 2000miles with no problems and NO check engine lights. Once winter came around that customer was so impressed with the work and how he was treated that he chose to be the first IS F "build" that I have seen.

We are in the process of rebuilding the motor with fully forged internals, building our own single turbo kit, which is our first on the IS F, you are correct..... But he is the first person willing to step up and let us do it. Oh did I mention that we are going to run the car on E85 and are shooting for 700+whp.........

I know you guys have had a lot of shops come along and say one thing and do the opposite. Here is what our kit will include:

*Billet 6262 Single Turbo
*PTE 46mm Wastegate
*Tial 50mm BOV
*Elite Custom Manifolds (if needed)
*Elite Custom Stainless Piping back to Cat-back
*Elite Custom Intercooler and Aluminum Piping
*AEM F/IC modded for the IS ECU
*Elite Modded Oil pan for Turbo Return
*Any other necessary mods we need to make for the kit....

Now what I need from you guys is a car....... You guys can call me a liar and say we can't do it all you want... BUT.... We WILL be making one and it WILL be of the highest quality......

So...... as I have said a thousand times.. If you guys want this I need a car and for that person the kit will be about $4300 in parts. As for our final price 8Kish will be installed. Shipped kits will be less.

Thanks,
Andy

If they undercut it with the 2.5L + turbo that would make no sense and only annoy IS350 buyers, I'd think?
AWD is something that the 350 didn't offer unfortunately, since an is350awd would take sales away form the GS350awd apparently. I think many of us 250awd owners would have baught a 350awd if it were available since the GS is a lil to pricey.... Now if Lexus/TRD/F-sport were to release a turbo kit or supercharger kit with decent gains (even 50whp) and cost under $4000,and have factory warranty, Then im sure more then a few people would pick that up in an instant, and lexus could easily make money of that from thier high priced labour costs on installs alone. I don't think a turbocharged is250awd with 250hp or so would annoy is350 buyers all that much... though im sure it would **** off Infinity as sales from the g37x would propbably drop.

for an additional US$300 and shipping, you can be the guinea pig for elite autosports.

^

How much would the superchager cost? And would it be bolt on like fox marketing?

Would it cost more less than the turbo kit?
