I might be instrested in loaning my car for this. I live in NM but have no problem shipping it to your location for a few months at my own expense. Thats IF it cost under 2k to send it and i get the free/ first turbo is350 you guys make. Let me know and we can chat.
I just did a quick google search and the transport seams to be under 1k. So that means all you have to do is let me know if you want to make a deal. Also i assume you guys will give some kind of protection say if the engine blows a few months later?
But really i am extremely interested on working with you guys. I have a silver Stock 2007 IS350 with 50k miles. I will be buying a second Daily Driver for the wife in a few weeks so the lexus is just going to sit at my house anyways.
there will always be a high number of 2is owners interested in seeing a forced induction kit for the 2is. after all, it won't cost us anything.
too bad the same can't be said for the number of 2is owners actually willing to put down $8k for a forced induction kit for the 2is...
Yeah for 8k...I or we are expecting at least 500hp for that price because at 4k-5k you can already build the lms/fox marketing supercharger kit with methanol injection to get it easily to around 400hp.

Our kit should be capable of 600whp... Will anyone push the motor/transmission that far is another question! I would love for someone to let u build their motor too!

Is your kit replacing any engine internals? If not I'm curious how you're adding roughly 335 whp (more than double stock whp) on an 11.8:1 compression engine with boost? Or are you saying your kit only does that if they also build out their motor? (Which I understand would be a bit of a crazy-expensive challenge due to the specific piston crown shapes and the nature of the DI charge). If that's what you meant what #s would you expect without a motor build? How much boost are you targeting to add? A couple folks have suggested the internals won't deal well with anything north of 7 psi.
Not trying to sound negative, just understand that others have repeatedly made similar promises and then delivered largely nothing at all... (or grossly underwhelming results like the $10,000 TOMs kit that added about 50 whp)... and obviously at $8000 you'd need to be producing better gains than just buying an IS-F (for around 10k more with a warranty and better transmission) would offer.
Also curious on a guesstimate of cost/gains to be had from just the piggyback, as if there's any decent gains and costs are reasonable I suspect you'd have a vastly greater market there willing to actually buy.
Gernby had built his own a while back but IIRC gains were only in the 7-10 rwhp range and costs were high enough he didn't think it commercial viable enough for production... if you're doing better this might be something to consider.

I think most of the people who know me would say that I would probably be more than down PM me with some info
interested, but expecting dissapointment. not trying to be Mr. Negative, i really do hope something comes out for our beloved 2is's. and i hope you guys can hit the nail on the head.
