Guys,

Ive been out to Elite Autosports in Blaine, MN and theyve got an impressive lineup of cars they have been working on. Check out some of their pics on the IS-F if you want to get a feel for what they are doing. i think they have it up on facebook or the lexusf forum.

Andy is a great guy and very meticulous with his work.

best of luck and i hope to see some results!

I would be very interested, and I can't wait to see the ISF... it's impressive that you made 200whp over stock.

8K is a bit steep but not as bad. I remembered when I was about to get my s2k turbo it was going to cost around 9K to get it to 350whp - 380whp.

If it is including tuning and adjustments (how will you do this for people out of MN?) its reasonable.

BTW, I did not end up doing the turbo, got a bike instead

I'm curious too. I guess a turbo is a worthwhile replacement for my headers. eh?

Don't forget about the IS250AWD - Boost for all.

I am in Illinois but can't part from my vehicle as it is my daily driver.

Good luck with the R&D etc...

WTF dude. I bought my car in MN and I live in Mo. I got it transported to Mo for $300. Im sure it would cost no more that that to ship within the state. Shop around man.

(Which I understand would be a bit of a crazy-expensive challenge due to the specific piston crown shapes and the nature of the DI charge). If that's what you meant what #s would you expect without a motor build? How much boost are you targeting to add? A couple folks have suggested the internals won't deal well with anything north of 7 psi.
I think what he means when he says "our kit", he means just the kit itself. he's not talking about the car its on. the turbo and all the other gear included in the kit is probably capable of making that much power

"Will anyone push the motor/transmission that far is another question!"

following up with that statement kinda shows that he was talking about the kit alone and not the motor he's putting it on.

If I'm not mistaken, they were the guys who fixed up some of the F's that were botched by Kenny when he was still at turbochargers.com, right? (I remember following some of their news a while back.)

As for pushing the limits, we can all agree that windex is the man to ask! :P

Good luck!

Lets put a few number together:
Known - 306 hp - 11.8:1 cr - 92 octane

So you are running 5 PSI of boost at an altitude of 300 feet. Your motor's static compression is 11.8 :1. At this boost level and altitude your effective compression ratio is 15.75 :1, and without altitude correction your compression ratio would be 15.81 :1.
So what is known is at 5psi our engine is at 15.8:1 CR. At 7 psi Tom's starts to blend fuel to 100 octane at 7psi the effective CR is 17.5:1.
With our piston size / stroke / and CR at 17.5:1 the Flywheel Hp is 455.68. This is roughly 375hp to the wheels with an 18% drivline loss.
Point being, the CR is not going to change so do not think your going to get any better than 375whp out of our IS350's without some major fuel blends or lowering the CR.
