Default Car shaking when at a complete stop

Has anyone had an issue with the 2006 IS 250? I've had alot of issues where my car is shaking (as if there were an earthquake) when i'm at a stop. I've taken it into the dealership twice, but they don't know what's wrong and my warranty is ending. Please help!

Does the car idle lower than usual when at a complete stop? How about when your driving and you put it neutral?

If so it could be your IAC and MAF.....

The dealership keeps telling me its nothing and to use better gas, but i've always used the premium gas from Chevron. I still feel the shaking and need to get it fixed before my warranty runs out in 500 miles... please help!

See if you can take it to a different dealership too, they might tell you something different.

You're Engine mounts are broken. You need to get new ones. It happened to me when i had my Honda. Rough driving, Lowered cars can lead to the mounts cracking and breaking. Get it them replaced and it'll solve the rumble. Should be around $300-500 to repair, but of course that was on a Honda.

Hope it helps.

It's normal. It has happened to me and many others. If you do a search on shaking, you'll find many other IS owners have had this happen.

I don't think this is normal as I've been having it on and off...
as a matter of fact I had a check engine and check vsc because of this.

The code read that my car had multiple cylinder misfires.
It's odd that it starts idling very rough and this is definitely not normal.
Considering that the diagnosis was "too much carbon build up" yet the
dealership had to send a request to Lexus to have an EFI service done on
my car. They have yet to get back to me on that. My only fix "Techron"

There's more to the IS250 idling rough and dipping low on rpms on stops.

mine has done the same thing to me a handful of times and i'm now at 40k. said something to the dealer yesterday about it when i was in for an oil change since it happened again that morning. they checked the computer for any codes it may have thrown but found nothing. they said i most likely have carbon build up and also need the injectors cleaned. they suggested a throttle body cleaning and injectors cleaned. i say a bunch of b.s.! the car is too young for all of that and i only use premium fuel since i got it brand new. what do you all think?

Mine has happened for few times too. I took it to longo, and they cleaned the injections and some others. The problem is still there. I wonder how it goes too.

See if it does it with the A/C on, if it goes away then its probably just an idle problem
