I've got a nice bridge to sell you too.

All the "universal chips" on ebay are 50 cent resistors that lie to your ECU, providing a very temporary (because the ECU figure out it's being lied to and corrects for it pretty fast) and very minor increase in power by claiming you're getting different air than you really are.

You can build the same thing yourself with radio shack parts for about $2...and you'll still be overpaying given the results you will end up with.

Yeah, you can check around the forum instead of going through ebay for any proformance parts. ANything that has to do with ECU is a scam!! You can either Turbocharge or supercharge your ride only to see any improvement in HP.

They call em "electric superchargers"

it's an electric fan, and does absolutely nothing except make knowledgeable people laugh when they look under your hood

dinan usa is a reputable, bmw-only tuner.

they're so good, not only do certain dealerships carry and offer to install their products, their product warranties piggyback onto the factory warranty. and if the product was installed after the warranty expired, they'll add on another two-year unlimited mileage warranty.

so to answer your question, yes.

btw, i don't think it's a "chip". they call it "performance engine software/boost upgrade".

Bringing this thread back up. Has anyone ever tried this chip and gotten true positive feedback? Or is it just another G force chip scam like?

A few boosted guys, including myself run meth injection. N/A guys I don't believe would receive much of a benefit from it. 06isdriver or mikellucci may have done a test with meth on an NA motor, not sure. I run it for more stability at upper boost limits, and the additional few whp is a good addition as well.
