Hey Guys, I'll be getting my F-Sport exhaust in a week or two, and would like to do it myself at home. Just wondering if there is a special tool/trick for getting the rubber hangars off and on the muffler and pipe mounts? What tools have you guys used to accomplish this task?
Basic wrench/socket set. WD40 works great for the rubber hangers. Just spray the rod sticking out, then use the small tube to spray where the rod goes through the hanger. With a little bit of wiggling and some gentle force, it'll come right off.
