he is a great guy to deal with. i just picked up a megan midpipe for my sister inlaw for her tc last night at the last minute and he pulled through like always.

HEY EVERYONE. i want to know who else is running these amazing pipes on their 2is. and who with a 3gs is going to put them on their rig!! come on people lets hear your feedback. youve heard mine over the last week.

I've been checking the thread every chance I get in the 3GS forum. So far they're working on getting somebody to donate their car to make sure it'll fit.

I'll be running stocks mufflers with the pipe.

i have been talking with chris. i have a friend with one but he has not answered his phone. i dont get why it is so hard to get some one to do it when you end up with a free test pipe!

Do you guys notice a popping noise when it idles down??? My setup is different but I get a sort of backfire/popping noise when i let off the throttle and coast.

i dont have a popping noise, i only get kind of a rasp at aroun 2700-3400 rpm. then you can only hear my intake

i get that popping noise w/ just the HKS hi powers... i think its cuz of the fatty 5" dia tips hahah. but i love that sound :P

That's good to know.
HKS is cool when your driving alone. But when you have people in the car it gets annoying. I'm gonna sell my HKS soon. And get Greddy.

I get mini the backfires as well. Sometimes they're not so mini! I have the midpipe paired up with a tanabe exhaust. I also had an hks hi-power exhaust installed first with the midpipe and got the popping/mini backfires too. I ran the hks exhaust with and without the silencers as well. I'm wondering if the popping/mini backfires occur due to the secondary cats being removed. Does this happen with the megan midpipe?
