Default **OFFICIAL** Exhaust Tip thread?

Is there one on here for the GS? If not, please post up your pics here (please no extreme close ups) some 10ft away side shots for how far they stick out would be great and some 10ft rear shots would be nice. I want some tips to accentuate my kit, looks dull with empty exhaust slots... Hope to get them before EOS too!

There is this thread for sound clips. And there is this for the pics and kits. Just select GS Exhaust Pictures in the quick jump drop box closer to the bottom of the page or in the category section up top.

I know there are better and more "up-to-date" exhaust tips out there, but I consider these classics and one that fills up the rear exhaust cutouts nicely because of its oval shape. These are for the OEM-ish look but just larger. You can tell by my car that it is the look I'm trying to achieve.

Borla tips....

How long have you had them on? They don't seem to stick out that much judging from this pic.

Default L Tune

Anyone have pics of the L Tune? I have been debating for 2+ years to install my brand new L Tune mufflers and tips or sell them? Heck, they have never been out of the box....

Thanks...

Neil

The first pic is my old straight pipe setup with 4" round, slash cut, rolled edge tips that I picked up from the muffler shop... The second pic is of my new setup with full 2.5 piping, Magnaflow cats and mufflers w/ x-pipe. The tips are Pypes brand, oval, slash cut, rolled edge... the oval tips are pretty much an exact fit for the muffler cutouts so there's is a little melting around the edges, but luckily the black center section covered it up

The car has had those Borla tips on there since I purchased the car in 2006. I went ahead and had a muffler shop add the aftermarket mufflers and delete the resonators as well. The exhaust guy asked me how far I wanted the tips to stick out. I think it is shorter than an axle-back Borla exhaust. I don't like the tips to stick out too far past the rear bumper. It looks weird to me.
