Default New exhaust and sound

Hi to all CL members.
This is my first post but i have been sneeking here around for some time
I'm from Estonia (search on the map )
Driving 2001 Lexus Gs300

I have all my life modified something, scooters and so on, even won some trophies for scootertuning. Now its time to move on

So i thought that after installing HIDs to fog lights its time for exhaust change, then in future 20'' and coils and then audio.

Just 1 hour ago i got my car back from tuning shop, they custom made 2.5'' exhaust with big silencers in the end.
Everything is looking good, outside sound is breathtaking, looks good (if I get these 20'' rims ) BUT at around 2000-3000rpm there is such a loud noise in cabin that its horrible. Its like bass, low and deep. On these rpms which i run on streets in city. Outside its good but inside...

I allready searched but didnt find any good info
Maybe you can say what is best to do for reducing this deep noise from cabin.
I thought ill cover whole trunk with noise reduction material and wrap the new pipe in this heat resistant material, i really don't know how is this called but they use it for like, eeemh, dragbikes exhaust and so on.

And maybe is there anywhere DIY for removing rear seats, i would like to cover some inside of cabin with this sound reducing material...

Sorry my english is not so good but i hope you understand

you just got some major droning... My SC4 straight pipe exhuast droned at 1100 RPM when warming up and at 2000RPM while driving.. the drone was so bad u cant talk to the person next to you without yelling.

but yea.. maybe add a pair of resonators.

Yeah, the 2JZ has a resonance range around 2500rpm or so. You will need to have the exhaust custom tuned with resonators to cancel out the noise at that range.

Above Lative and to the left of Russia.

As far as the exhaust droning goes, resonators and sounds reduction material should help some. Check the DIY section for installing a new sub and amp to find out how to pull on the back seat and trunk trim.

Also, i need pics of the scooters and your current car.

Oh and welcome to CL!
