I love exhaust sounds. Please send the sounds to me Murph,
pgscott@bigpond.com

My 1UZ-FE exhaust sound page is the most popular on my site (see Exhausts part 3 - Soarer Exhaust/Intake sounds)

best regards

Hi Pete,

It seems that Microsoft has tagged the file with some kind of license migration that has now stopped anymore duplication of the file as it exists. This is a result of this whole Napster thing. I used the Red Book format on the file which is what audio CD's use so Microsoft sees this as a music CD file when it's transferred. I'm going to redo the file this weekend. Supposedly there's a security setting either in the mixdown process on my equipment or when I tranfer it to the PC that gets set or disabled. If set, Microsoft sets a limit on the duplication number somehow. I'll make sure the setting is disabled and send out. I have a queue of folks that I owe the file to.

I have had the L-Tuned exhust for about a year now...the only thing I don't like about it is the fact that it is near impossiable to keep the tips clean...for some reason mine are always black no matter what I do...However the sound is great...they look great...and it almost sounds like a n/a supra...if anyone has any idea on how to keep them more clean please let me know.

I have the tips. THey're ALWAYS clean.

Here's how I did it.

I went to the LA Auto show and got the chrome cleaner and sealant.

THe cleaner polishes, the selanet puts like a waxy coat on it that lasts for a really long time and whenever it gets dirty, you just get tissue paper and wipe it off.

The iside of the tips are black for me cuz I painted it black with smoke spraypaint. (It looks better than old chrome- trust me) so I don't ahve to worry about muffler/exhaust residue.

ShowGS:

E-mail me at GS400@attbi.com and I'll send you the MP3 file. It's almost 4MB in size so I hope you have a Broadband Connection.

Default I'm gonna get 'em, too!

Murph, thanks for sharing the before-and-after audio with us. After hearing your car turn over with the L-Tuned exhaust, I pretty much decided that I have to have them, too! I'm at about 23.5K miles right now, so I'll probably have them installed with my 25K servicing (if I can wait that long!).

I came home from Europe yesterday and after driving rental cars for over a week, my car WITH L-Tuned exhaust does not sound loud, it just sounds GREAT. However, it's warm and humid now and I know my exhaust is louder when it's dry and cool.
