Default l-tuned mufflers

Can anyone send me a sound sample or direct me to one of a gs300 with the l-tuned mufflers. I wanted to know if they made any differences in sound.

An L-Tuned exhaust sounds a LOT different (louder) than stock. It's slightly louder than a Borla exhaust.

Sorry, don't have a sound clip of mine (which is on a GS400 anyway). I tried making a clip one day, but it was hopeless trying to get a good sample.

To be honest, I love the Nitto tires. I went from the factory 16" goodyear's to them and I could take turns about 25% faster. It was a big improvement considering I haven't done any suspension mods yet. The only thing I don't like is the road noise is louder than stock (the quietest car on the road) but my buddies who have accords an stuff think they are quiet. I would recommend them, you have to expect a little noise. It is nothing bad I am just a perfectionist.

Hey bitkahuna,

What exhaust would you say is the quietest out of all the aftermarket brands.

The Borla, but it's NOT quiet. If you want quiet but a different look, just get new tips put on your stock exhaust.

Suggest you hook up with an owner who has a Borla or L-Tuned - lots of them around.

I did tips only in order to keep stock sound. I can hook you up with a pair of stainless tips for about $100 that would need to be welded on. They are rolled stainless, angle cut or straight, with 3.5, 4, or 4.5" diameter opening and a 2.25" inlet.
