What, why the heck do you need to spend $1k for fuel? You can piece one together yourself for around $600-700 or so. That's about how much I spent for my dual walbro + 1000cc injectors. Also, why the need for a V-pro...I see a EMS on the table.
But, anyways it looks like you're gonna have a blast lol. I was about to fab up a twin turbo kit, but I decided to do a compound turbo setup instead

I didn't get the AEM all I bought was the turbo kit. I need a second walbro ~$100, six injectors ~$600, Fuel rail and adapters ~$270, Lines and fittings $250+, regulator ~$150, and I already have the dual pump hanger. That is well over 1k.
I am using the V-Pro because you do not have to use a work around to control the VVTi and in the supras we have used it on the daily drive ability is far superior to the AEM.
I was looking at that kit for the longest time too. I asked for better pics of the complete kit, but he never came through so I passed on it. I agree with you 100% on the vpro over the aem. its a much more reliable unit BUT, i do hate being tied to a pro dealer to have it tuned. Good luck on it, and I hope you post some pics of the final install.

I am lucky enough to have two good friends who own a shop and are the only pro-dealers in Missouri. I will actually tune the car myself. I hope to have it ready for next spring it depends on the amount of side work I can do.
must be nice, lol. i know a guy that works for the local pro dealer. so i get pretty good rates. i have some pretty big plans for this winter as well. 5 speed, twin turbo (currently t78-33d, probably going to something along the lines of what you have. 2871's or something similar) FINALLY install my vpro, injectors the list goes on and on and the bank account gets smaller and smaller.
Awsome, I love seeing twins like that in these cars. I remember seeing some old pics (I think SPengineering) of a GS with VeilSide Executive kit & twin turbos setup like that. I loved it from then on. Good luck with it.
Thats a nice pick up Ben, I saw that kit for sale on SF and he dropped the price so much that I was wondering when someone was going jump on it.. Only difference I see between this kit and my hks tt kit is this runs off a single hks wastegate as opposed to 2 gates on mine. Not sure if the piping is the same, looks similar, but I know that we had to basically redo all the piping including the intakes except the down pipes and manifolds if that helps you any..
More than the trans can hold. Should be 550-600 on pump with meth and 700+ with race gass.
Ben
u think so....i would think more like high 400's to mid 500's on meth and MAYBE low 600's to high 600's on race gas but your right, tranny DEF wont hold that
Finaly had time and money so I spent most of last weekend in the 98 deg heat working on the car. Here is a quick cell phone pic.
The intercooler piping that came with it is for a supra and will have to be re-made and I need to build a new downpipe. I am waiting on the rest of the fittings for the fuel system and then it should be back on the road. I won't know the true potential until I can get a new computer to control everything.
Sometimes being stubborn is the only way to get the best things done. Did you have JDM or USDM twins? I just did the swap in my 400 and kept it all JDM stock for now. Just wondering how far I can push the stock
JDM twins before they crap out. I read like 340rwhp or something like that.
