Question...installing intake (battery disconnect.)
I didn't bother when I did the install for someone. It's a lot easier if you can avoid it. There are also devices you can plug into the cigarette lighter that will apply voltage to the car with the main battery disconnected to save memory settings. I'm not 100% sure this would work on a 2IS though - I haven't looked at the wiring diagram to check.
Just pull the fuse after your done installing the intake.
Sometimes the car throws a check engine light or w/e light, i know because it happened when i first installed the JoeZ intake. After i pulled the fuse, the light went away.

I didn't disconnect it...it was more of just a safety precaution! But it was a pretty simple install! The only part that was craps was putting the rubber sleeve onto the pipe to the manifold!!!
That was FUN!!! LOL! But it sounds great! Love the sound of the deeper howl! Who cares about not getting added HP...we've got 300+ and in Hawaii, we go from traffic light to traffic light just like in the movie: MEET THE PARENTS!!!
Pretty simple mod IMO! Took about 45-60 minutes, would have been less if that damn sleeve went on easier!
Good luck and have fun with this mod! Its very simple and cheap too with cashback incentive on ebay!
