Default 2jz gte vvti 2001(Aristo engine) with r154 swap

hello, i'm marcel from the netherlands.

im currently building a 2jz gte into a BMW e30. engine is sitting fine and transmission is connected to the rear diff. but now i'm busy on the wiring, and accountered some few problems,

since the aristo was a automatic, and i now have a r154 installed behind it, i got a few wires left from the automatic gearbox

i already find out that you have to reconnect the neutral switch else it isn't going to start,
i also heard that you have to connect a speed signal,(4sig/rev) thats also no problem

but what about the rest of the wires? like al the soleniods in the gearbox? isn't the ecu going into fault modus and i'm not going to have 100% power?

hope you guy's can help me out

This is one of my future todo list. I haven't researched it but it's been done before (someone around the neighborhood has it).

the aristo never cam manual so thats out of the question.

now as far as the ecu freaking out i don't know. I'm also building a 2001 aristo motor with a 6 spd supra tranny but I'm doing something different when i comes to the wiring. I'm putting in a HKS f-con v-pro and running it stand alone which gets rid of all the sub systems that the stock wiring and ecu has to have in order to work. I wish I could be more helpful but I think in the long run it might be beneficial for you just to can the stock ecu all together and start fresh with a stand alone since this is not going into a 2nd gen GS chassis.

Is this going to be a race car or are you going try to figure out a/c, heat and all that jazz?

GL with the build

as i know there are no aristo v300's made with an manual transmission.

and the manual ecu from the supra is different, you can't switch them, ecu pinout is different. the wiring loom is different also, if i want to use the supra ecu, i also need a wiring loom from a supra.

so i hope i can get this running with original aristo ecu.

i'm not building a race car. it is just for play on the road and it's gonna be my daily driver

so a stand alone is an option, but first i want to try running the original ecu and have everything working. the problem is i got verry mutch things to take care of, and if i also need to program a stand alone ecu is it gonna be a project for a lot longer time. but if it's really not gonna work with the original ecu then that's my final option.
the car had no airco, only power-steering. (after i build it in) its a 323 from 83 so not very luxury
but i figured that out, heating is also re-connected. drive shaft is ready, clutch is ready, gearing is ready. today I'm gonna fixing the exhaust and a new place for the battery, it's going to the back.

drivable after 3.5 months of building (later hours and free Saturdays)

road legal after 5months

really fun to drive and also very comfortable, i also build the car for a daily use and it is now been driven for more than a year with no major problems,

next car i'm going to build is a bmw e30 with 1UZ V8, last thing i did with the new engine was fixing it to manual transmission and removed airco and EGR and put new timing kit and waterpump on it

now to find a good body to put it in

Love the workmanship and the inspiration.

What is your driving experience with the BMW3-2jz-gte?

Any performance numbers?
