Does anybody else with a gs400 have a whining noise from the transmission when the temperature is very cold outside. The vehicle has to be in drive and your foot needs to be on the brake, like you were stopped at a stop sign or red light.

Just trying to gauge how normal this is.

 

hmm, are you sure its your transmission? it might be your barrings double check!

 

aint from the transmission, but i get mine from the brakes.

 

Sounds like the power steering is making the noise. Check the condition of the fluid and when was the last time you changed it?
