there is no drone during idle state, if thats the drone youre talking about
there is a drone with aftermarket exhaust at low rpms, not due to removing resonator, if thats the drone youre talking about.

like i said, all it does it make your car sound louder at higher revs. BARLEY any sound difference at low to mid rpms.

Thanks KrapWerdna, i appreciate your answer. im not a fan of the tanabe set however i may do HKS hi-power sometime down the road the resonator being removed will give me a little sound on the top end mine is manual so i would be able to squeeze a decent sound on the freeway onramp.

P.S mr kayotic.. im waiting for you on my.is to make fun of us canadians. :P

if you want sound on top-end rpm, you should get a true dual, catback exhaust. all axle back sound will die after 3500 rpm. I used to have tanabe axle back and once I punch it above 3500rpm, it just dies..and gone. now with LMS catback, the sound is there throughout all rpm range.. but take note, most catback is louder

yea, thats true. around 3-4k rpm, the sound dies. thats why you get an intake. HAHAH
this is how my car sound throughout the rpms.
1-3k - nice growl/purr deep resonating tone (from ehaust)
3-4k - beastly growl from intake (only when i gas a little more than half way or flooring)
4-redline - monstrous sounds from both intake and exhaust (again be gassing half way or flooring. *be careful, it can get really loud with exhaust, intake, resonator removed combo.*)

sometimes i like it wen sound dies. HAAH it gives me that moment of quiet during long drives. OR when cops are around, i can just whiz by without a sound.
