how come i dont see any of the turbo guys with the GS going to a front facing intake mani like the GTE? alot of people with the non vvti's do this and i was just wondering why not on the vvti's. does anyone know if i put a GTE inatake mani and tb from like a 95 supra on my car if it will work fine?
and i know they are not just interchangeable there is some fabrication to make it work, but im saying can i get the correct sensers and stuff to work on my 99GS300. Im about to buy a GTE intake mani and tb so i need to make sure asap!

It doesn't fit, the runners are not the same so they don't line up. You need something like this http://www.swiftracing.com/SRT/item.aspx?id=26.
EDIT: You could have your stock runners welded onto the GTE manifold, I've seen that done. But I don't know how well that would work.

that wasnt the question tho, i know it wont fit, i was asking about the sencors and stuff, if i did have it cut and welded! would the TPS sensor i need fit into the 95 gte intake mani and throttle body? and all the other stuff! i do my own cutting and welding so thats not a problem for me, i can make it fit easy i just need to know about the sensors and stuff like that.
