Will Megan Mid-pipe fit to 2IS300?
Okay, I have made an order to Tanabe Exhaust and I'm waiting for it to arrive. There is something worrying me because I'm planning to add megan midpipe to it, but before I do that let me show you our stock Lexus IS300 2nd GEN mid-pipe...
here are the photos

I'm not really worried about the Tanabe cause I'm sure it will fit... but my biggest worries is the midpipe...
Is this the same stock midpipe on Lexus ISX50s?

^ Ask JoeZ as he had that car in the past and he has the measurements for the 2IS. It looks like its the same but may be off in a few areas. IMO you should be able to make this work! Just get it and got to a custom exhaust shop and for 50$ or slightly more then will modify it to make it work
The 3gen GS looks the same also for the mid section. They all seem to share the same design but there is going to probably be some slight measurements that are off.

Okay, thanks guys...
Do I have to ask Megan to provide me the O2 sensor when I order my mid-pipes or just use the stock? Is Megan mid-pipe ready with the thing where I attach the sensor to on the mid-pipe?

Hey Emarati_K,
An O2 Sensor Socket (removal tool) would need to be purchased separately if you plan on doing the install on your own.
Otherwise, any mechanic experienced with Lexus or Toyota's should have that tool handy.
Hey Mike...
The 1st Gen IS300 (US Spec) is an in-line 6... The new 2nd Gen IS300's (non-US Spec) are V-6
Seems that "kattanh3" has confirmed the 2nd Gen IS300 & ISx50's share the same oem exhausts....
So far it seems the only true different 2nd Gen IS OEM Front-Mid pipe is found on the IS250 awd.

I remember something about gaskets though, I think you'll need to get new ones, nothing to worry about your shop should be able to figure it out. Get a short o2 socket with a slit on the side so you can tuck the sonsors' wires in it while removing/installing and also WD-40 will make the job much easier, good luck
