I'd say you will spend around $2-3k in parts if you do it yourself. Buy a 6sp auto trans, standalone transmission controller, and have a custom driveshaft made. If you take it to a shop, the price will increase by several times.

 

jeff can u show me (post or links) an example of a standalone transmission controller? what all will this do/control? hmmm wonder if this would be worth it.....be nice to have but wonder if its worth it
