my install was free! guess it had to with with the fact the trans was aready out of the car anyway for a complete rebuild!

Has anyone had any luck with the Lextreme Torque Convertor?

 

for the small money difference of only a few hundred dollars buy the PI TC! I checked with people all over in the trans business and all of them told me that PI makes the best converters! do it once, and do it right!

 

any video of these TC? also whats the disadvantage?

Any CEL with the 2800 stall?

 

i get a cel here and there, it comes and goes, i would say it stays on for about 400 miles outa 4000miles (my oil change interval). so most of the time its not there, does not really bother me

 

So I'm guessing 2600 stall is the only one that never gets a CEL?

i'm planning on getting the pi tc for my 03 gs430..after reading what you wrote, now i really can't wait to get it... just woundering if the cel came on after the installation would it affect anything...thanks.

 

I've driven my car for about 800 miles since I've installed the TC and no CEL at all. Even if it did come on, the way the car drives I wouldn't care because it is worth it.

Off the line the car just goes with no hesitation at all. I have the SRT intake and the Borla exhaust so it's funny to see the look on peoples faces when I drive with them. They don't expect my car to sound or drive the way it does.

 

Yeah I too would love to see a video...with good sound!
