I think you need that ecu if your gonna use any amount of boost since that o2 sensor is very picky, you will also need to reprogram the fuel/air mixture or else your car will be running too rich/leane. The ecu plays a very big role in forced induction, if your gonna go that route go all the way or dont gp there at all
