Default Need intake advice

Alright guys... I'm gonna be needing a air filter for my 2000 gs300 soon which usually run around 50 bucks but for 80 bucks i can buy modular air intake from Spectre Performance. On their website they have it where you can buy the seperate pieces and just put them all together. I know its not a SRT or an Ingen but his looks like a pretty decent one. There is the website below, check it out and lemme know.
Thanks

Truthfully, I would just go for the K&N FIPK or SRT with ECU, you can find members selling them in the classified section... Much better quality, plus a reliable name.

There is no K&N intake for the 2000 GS 300. The best bet would be to go with the SRT. I suppose the only downside of the SRT is that its not carb approved, but other than that, its a good intake.

there is no k&n intake for the I6, only v8. ask yourself, what direction do you plan to take your car? if performance minded, then yes, SRT. if not, dont bother. really how much will an intake really give you? GL!

Big

You can look into this from Weapon-r (yes guys I know) it doesn't seem to be a bad intake (Sport Compact Car did a shot-out back in 03 and out of something like 10 other manufacturers the Weapon-R showed the biggest gains across the board) so I can't be all that bad, its a pipe after all

Intakes do work, think of it this way when you run your month is wide open trying to gasp as much air as possible. Now go out and run but this time tape your nose shut and tape a straw to your month and see how your going to feel!!!

More noise is, but its not like if your just launched the Space Shuttle. It will get noisy under WOT other than that it won't drive you crazy

many people dont under stand. it's not how much air going through ur intake that will make a difference in performance. it's how much air can get into your engine... think about that uh?

That is correct, but when ever you can remove a bottle neck a performance gain will be seen.

Your engine will handle what ever amount of air can be pumped into it, if its boost, NA its just a big air pump.

How ever you go about it, More air+More Fuel= More power!
