Default Tanabe Black Residue??

I've had my Tanabe Exhaust on for a year now and ever since I got it, I've always had a lot of black residue on the tailpipes, it's like a layer of black dust almost. any of you have seen this? Do you know if it's the gas I use (I use Shell btw)? or is there something wrong w/ my car?
Any help or comments would be greatly appreciated.
And sorry if it's a re-post, I didnt find anything by doing a search.

I thought I was the only one and I use chevron too..I also noticed a light amount of smoke comming out too. They said that was normal when I first had it but it's been 3+ months since I had it.

um... thats normal with ANY car.

its from the motor. at start up the car tends to run a little bit more richer, which then leaves the gases that are not completely burnt kicking out of the exhaust. Its condensation that carries the black soot like residue thats easily wiped off.
