Yeah, if the ECU needs reprogramming for just an air intake it was a pretty horrible OEM design. Even the early 90s era designed ECU in the GM LT1 didn't need flashing for just a CAI... you picked up power from it but the ECU could easily adjust A/F to handle it.

Kinda scary the new mustangs have such little flexibility in the OEM flash

If the engine is louder as a result of the intakes (i wouldn't know as I'm still stock on mine), it may give the driver a greater sense of speed just from the noise.
JoeZ has been dynoed on an IS250 on this forum at 5hp gain... and takes 15 mins to change back if anyone ever had a worry about warranties...
