is there any increase in torque or hp for the IS250 headers? or just the 350?

excuse my ignorance but what does 16whp translate to what i think is called engine HP? is the wheel HP the same numbers as the engine HP? if not then what does 16whp translate to engine hp? Thanks

bhp and whp are different. There is approximately 15-20% drivetrain loss so just figure out from there.

The car made 279 whp and 290 wtq that means it is making that much power at the rear wheels. Looking at the stock dyno it seems Erik losses about 15% from the motor to the wheels, which means with the header, at the engine, the car is making 321 hp and 333 tq vs the stock 306 hp and 277 tq.

The main thing to look at here is not the fact that it is making more power, that doesn't mean much (main reason why turbo car will be faster making the same power as a s/c car), the main thing to look at is it is making that much power in almost every rpm and that is what will make your car faster.

^^^ word.

Area on the entire curve is much more important. Anyone can put cams in a Honda and make more peak horsepower but the car will sometimes become slower due to loss of power elsewhere on the curve.

wow thats awesome! and this is with the old set. The new modified set should have a small increase in performance right? so we are waiting on combfilter for his results i guess. Once again great work! and thanks for the breakdown of the performance gains!

I am the one and only guy to install Mazzuri headers on a 350, and then remove them. Let me tell you this sucks for me right now. The headers make a great deal of improvment to the 350.

I do not support street racing yet in the past few days I have done a little. I was beaten by a Rouch mustang stage 3(from a roll doing 50 mph), and a 335i coupe.(doing 40 mph, but he got the jump on me) I believe that with the headers the story would be different.

Your right! But you must agree if you had the headers sitting on your floor at home, you would want to install them ASAP; right? I realy want to reinstall them, but its not easy, so I must wait...
