I thought the dyno was going to be done using car_lost's exhaust. See post 531.

I think it still will, this dyno was done to get a before and after of the exhaust.

I'm not trying to be argumentative, but I still don't think this is the right conclusion without knowing anything about TopTier's timing curve. The fact that TopTier's stock AFRs appeared leaner than Erik's modified AFRs seem like a good indication that there was something weird going on with the dyno or car due to altitude. Also, I've personally tuned my IS350 to AFRs in the mid 13's with good results.

I have NOT met up with Erik yet. If we put his stock exhaust on my car, we can get somewhat of a baseline. Stock for stock we should have SIMILAR numbers on the same dyno on the same day.

What ever the case, it's clear A/F is the reason. Eriks and TopTiers cars both have my headers on them which is a completely different to your car. So 13s may be a good number for a 350 with a stock exahust system, but with a header it may like to be rich.. as can be concluded from the two dynos.

All dynos do read different thats for sure, but I have yet to see a 350 hit 280 wtq on any dyno, on a dyno dynamics at that, but the bottom line is a stock 350 needs to be dynoed on the same dyno.

maybe toptiers gains would be just as good if he got tuned with an SAFC

Maybe... I do plan on adding a piggy back to my car to get better results as well. I am just waiting on the 2nd gen. Mazzuri headers 1st. Oh and my dyno shows 290 foot pounds of tq, thats a huge increase (if it is accurate). The 1st thing we need to do now is have another 350 use the same dyno I used. Just to make sure I got an accurate reading. Or I could just find another dyno to use and compair the results. Bottom line is we need to do more testing.

Daniel, have you contacted the shop that I used to discuss results? Or have you e-mailed my dealer about dynoing his 350? You have his e-mail from my earlier one to you.

Where does it show 290 ft-lbs of torque? It looks like 232.9 ft-lbs to me.

The post is #565

Here are some new interesting dyno results from erikbaker. Erik asked me to post these dyno sheets from his IS350 with my header.

279 whp and over 280 wtq! on a dyno dynamics dyno which is known to spit out the lowest numbers.

Here is the biggest thing that one needs to pay attention to on this dyno, look at the A/F ratio, it's almost at 11 at redline. Compare that to the other dyno which never broke 13s.

Now I know all dynos read very different, so I am working with Erik in finding a stock 350 that can dyno on the same dyno so we can see the real gains.

We will eventualy do a dyno of a 350 with Mazzuri headers and no cats. But our schedules are conflicting right know. Maybe after season is over here in FL, which will be soon (I hope).

All these numbers seem kinda low. I was able to produce 246wtq with the X-pipe and SAFC alone. I also made 280whp without the hedder. Of course mine was on a mustang dyno.

Thats pretty good.

I think the main number to look at on mine is the wtq. Thats a pretty impressive gain. So impressive that I want to do another dyno on a different dyno just to prove that number.

The reseason I want to do another dyno is because, THE CAR DOESNT FEEL LIKE IT GAINED 50 WTQ. I dont want people getting their hopes up just to find out my dyno is incorrect.
