From t-love on my.is:

I installed my headers on my is350 on Friday it took me and a buddy of mine 3.5 hours to finish install. We had my car on ramps and an oil change pit under the car which was a life saver. It is really tight getting the oem headers out. It was after midnight when we finished so I started it up and took it for a test drive. My cel came on immediately and then my traction control light came on so my vsc system shut down. The car feels like it has more power every time I get into it. If I punch it around a corner the car goes completely sideways very fun to drive. My problem is: I installed the sim the next morning and my cel and vsc light are still on. Do I have to have these reset from the factory before they will go out or is the sim not working?

Working with him on the sim issue.

Also I want to point out, this is not an "issue" the sim was installed incorrectly and may have been damaged, ones the code is pulled I will know for sure.

The other 350 owner has no CELs.

A little update on the sim situation with t-loves car, seems like the problem is the bank 1 sensor 1 sensor, seems like it was damaged during the install somehow. So it was not related to the sim at all.

Still no 350 dyno sheet to read the gains and see what is really happening? I know there would be more power, but is it a real power gain, or a change in the power band?

Update guys. I have put over 1000 miles on these headers now and the VSC issue has completely gone away. The Car has not errored again since I hit 200 mile mark on these headers.

As a Dyno goes for the 350. I recommend that a 350 owner put at least 250 miles on the headers before they dyno the car. It seems to get faster over time, and reached its peak around 300miles. It might be because the computer is making changes to the air / fuel to compensate for the vacuum created by the headers.

hey guys i put on the headers in my is350 5 days ago and finally have the time to post. I'm not having an issue with the CEL or anything only thing i notice is my tanabe exhaust is louder but not to much louder drove 200 miles on it already and not having any issue at all. The header surely adds power. Before i wouldnt lose traction on first gear from a stop but now i lose alil bit of traction from a stop. sorry no dyno dont have the extra money but i will be going to the dragstrip first sunday of april before with just the k&n intake i was able to run 13.57 so now i have tanabe exhaust and mazzuri headers i will post what times i hit after i go to the track to see if it actually made a difference

Do you have, or know someone who has an OBDII datalogger? It would be very interesting to see your long term fuel trims and ignition timing curves. For all we know, the ECU might be retarding timing and running rich to correct the issue that was causing the CEL.
