Here is the valve empty, you will put the new thermostat inside...



OEM on the Left, TRD, on the Right....



OEM on left, TRD on the right....You can see the core in the middle...

This is where the Thermostat lays...the 3 bolts/cover holds it in place. Notice the rubber seal, you NEED to ensure you have this on the new Thermostat

Place a towel under the valve before u take the thermostat out so u don't leak coolant on your belt (and have loud noise coming from it for a few hours, lol)

Just wanted to add that the valve you see on the thermostat goes on top. Like on this pic.


Not like this.


It allows trapped air to pass through.
