Default installing Tanabe...

for a just-below average technical guy, how difficult is it to install the tanabe exhaust yourself?
I am about to find out so if anyone have some how-to pics or tips you would make my day...

The hardest part of it is the rubber hangers. To make it easier lube them with something to get them off, I used a little bit of oil and another person I know of used soap and water, actually that was Akatsuki - see his thread too because there are some pics. It's really not hard though.

i just had mine installed today. took the mechanic about 30 mins but he was being really careful. it looked pretty straight forward.

on another note, the sound is quite noticable inside the cabin between 2-3RPM's . i didn't think it would be this loud, now does it get even louder as it breaks in? :O might be a little too loud for a lex...

when you install it id suggest you have another person to hold the y pipe and push it on the left a little bit.. It might align the exhaust even... instead of one side hanging lower

other than that its simple not difficult at all1!! have fun
