Question 2004 GS ECU Reset

I posted eariler on this topic but I have a new question. The 04 GS has three "ECU" fuses. I don't want to pull the wrong one to perform the reset. Which one do I need to remove? Thanks in advance.

What are you trying to do? Reset the long fuel trim.

Just pull the negative battery terminal for 15-20minutes and you should be set.

The reason I ask if you want to reset just the Fuel trim. Pull connectors the the main ECU plug #1 and 3. Or pull the negative to reset the whole thing.

JPI,
I didn't mean to ignore you. My issue is that I bought my 04 GS from a friend with only 25K miles on it. I read that the GS learns the driver’s habits and there is a little hesitation in certain instances that don't feel right. The previous owner and I have counter opposite driving habits. He drove to his office every day no more than 10 miles. I am in my car every day and can put on up to 50K per year. The ECU reset sounded like an easy attempt to remedy the hesitation. I could be wrong and heading in a direction that I should not...who knows.

eventually your car will learn your driving habits, so it's not really necessary to reset the ecu. it'll just take some driving and in time, it'll adjust to your current habits.

I did the removal of the negative brake terminal and I must say that the pick-up on both the highway and local roads is unbelievable...in a positive way. Great fix for someone who purchased a pre-owned Lexus.

Although effective I don't like to reset the ECU by disconnecting the negative battery terminal because it resets everything, like my bloody radio stations, well actually I don't know if it will do that on my aftermarket hu but I'll see.
