OK, update...maybe I'm just not used to these mods. For example, I thought that with both TC and LSD that I would spin so easily that if I only gave 3/4 throttle it would still spin a little; it doesn't so I haven't tried mashing the gas (WOT) from a standstill until last night. I said enough of this $h1t and mashed the gas from a stop sign...I smoked 'em pretty good to the point that I let off the gas a little and the shifting got a little funky because I guess it was staying in that gear because of the wheelspin (hard to explain). So, I can break them loose now but ONLY when I fully put my foot on the pedal. Is this the same as everyone else? Oh, BTW I have 19" wheels and about 80lbs of stereo equipment in the trunk...no spare though. The shifting got a lot better; I don't know how but it did. I think it's just a matter of getting used to these mods. My tranny cooler is still a stand alone unit where the tranny lines do NOT run through the radiator. Every once in a while I still smell tranny fluid but I think it's just some runoff residue that perhaps got on my exhaust during the install of the TC. For all that have the TC is there a substantial lag at around 45mph when hitting it (WOT) from a standstill? Almost like your running a 0-60 from a stop sign. It gets up there pretty quick but there is a pronounced lag at around 45-50mph where it doesn't seem like it hits 60 as quick as before but I'm sure it does.

***EDIT***

One other question...today after I popped the hood to check for leaks I noticed that there was a plastic hose coming from the top of my fans that is supposed be connected to a black sealed box located by the washer fluid tank. What is this for? It was disconnected so I re-connected it. The shop probably forgot to re-connect it during my coolant system flush that I had also requested.

Thank you VERY much to all who replied on this thread (or through PM) and gave advise.
-Nick

Well, I decided to try to test the stall on the TC; to see if it was set correctly by Precision Industries. Through a search on CL there have been some members that have mentioned that if you firmly hold the brake and give it gas you can determine what stall the TC is at when the car starts to move. I tried this method and at around 2100-2200rpms my rear wheels started to spin! The brakes are brand new, tires have a lot of tread on them and I was on a flat dry surface. What does this mean? Can this mean my stall is only at 2100/2200rpms? It should be at 2900rpms. If I would have went up that high I would have been doing a smoke show in front of my house! Somethings just not right...please give me some advice on these findings.

Have you checked the fluid level? Either the fluid level is way too high, or the TC stall is incorrect. I'm hoping it's the former.

Fluid level is SLIGHTLY (3-4 mm) higher than the hot mark when car is running and fluid is hot. The fluid is still pinkish red. Below are a couple of videos that I took.

First one (0-80mph launch) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n4JIQdda5hw
Second (WOT from 30mph roll) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LW_6gX4fjss
Third (Normal driving) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XqRnT3KDIoc

Please analyze these videos and not my rpms to see if everything seems to be in order. Let me know, thanks!

When I had fluid that high, my car was somewhat a bit sluggish when I floored my car. When I lowered the fluid level to the correct amount, my car felt quicker because the difference was quite apparrant in my case. Our tranny seems to be quite sensitive to the fluid level. A bit too much or too less the tranny doesn't feel like it's doing what it should be doing.

I would let the fluid drain out for 3-4 seconds, start up the car, and run through the gears one more time, and then check the fluid again.

All your video seems to be abour right (as far as speed vs RPM), but I not being able to smoke the rear like crazy is kind of baffling.

Well, actually with the VSC off from a stand still I can smoke them a bit. In the video you hear a little "chirp" but my car was actually spinning them pretty good before the "chirp"; something that video cannot quite capture. Maybe it would have been better if I had set the ETC to "power" mode and/or perhaps shifted using the E-shift. BTW, as mentioned earlier I have 19's and about 80lbs of stereo in the trunk. I will check out draining some tranny fluid.
