Installed my Greddy SP2 today- UPDATED WITH PICTURES AND VIDEOS!
So I bought the Greddy SP2 from www.sportcompactonly.com for $540 shipped. When I ordered it, it wasn't on the website and now it is for $657 so I'm not sure about what happened to the price.
But as far as the exhaust, it is perfect. I wouldn't say that it is loud, I would rather use the term deep. It gives off a deep tone even at the low end and obviously at WOT it is even deeper. HP, not sure. Probably not much, but I did notice the the car kind of 'jumps forward' when shifting gears close to WOT and it never did that before.
For the purpose of making the car sound deeper (which is what the stock exhaust, really should have had) this is the perfect exhaust. Not too loud like the HKS and not non-existant like the Tanabe. As long as you like the wider openings (like I do) I think everyone would be extremely happy with this exhaust.
I will add pics shortly. Right now my girlfriend has my camera. I'll probably be able to get pics taken over the weekend and get them up Tuesday/Wednesday of next week. Audio will be harder, but I'll see what I can do. I think my camera has a video setting. I've never used it before, but I suppose I can try.
After a couple of days of having the exhaust I am glad I bought it. It gives it a much more aggressive look and a more aggressive sound. Kind of like a deep growl, but certainly not obnoxiously loud. Couldn't be happier.
I have this exhaust and I think it sounds great. I don't really notice the sound unless I give it some gas. I also think it looks a lot better than the Tanabe.
No drone on the highway at all. Again, couldn't recommend it enough. And no, the wide openings don't bother me. I actually really like the looks of it.
