Here is the data straight from my Lexus scanner.
This vehicle sat for 6 hrs, which explaint the low trans temp. Jeff has a P/I TC and a trans cooler. I will try to get some datas off his car when he is coming in for service.

Thanks for the input guys!! So sounds like Hayden will be doing the job well... I recieved the Hayden 1401 in the mail today so ill be working on getting it put on soon but not within the next couple days (VERY busy weekend). I cant wait to get it in! So somewhere in this thread i was reading that i will FEEL some kind of difference?... Smoother shifts?
Your shifts wont get any better than what the car came out of the factory. My case was that my fluid heated up too much and that made the shifts rougher. But with the tranny cooler, I'm preventing the fluid from overheating, thus I maintain my OEM smooth shift
In AWD RX300s, there is an OEM tranny cooler located behind the bumper onthe passenger side. In the OEM design, there is the windshield wiper fluid reservoir parked in front of it and obscures about 75% of it. I recently removed the reservoir and have also noticed smoother shifting and after driving and then checking the ATF, I notice it is a little cooler to the touch. I don't miss the washer fluid much as it is rainy season, plus there is a person on every corner that for a few pesos will wash the windshield.

I was told about 75.00. for the install.. I'm not to knowledgable to install this myself..
It wouldn't be a bad idea specially if you live in a hot *** state like me.. Its a piece of mind issue for me here in FL.. You can get a cooler for 30-45 bucks plus the install..or do it yourself.. either way your helping the tranny.. I say go for it..
I DID IT GUYS!!... So today i got around to doing it... i didnt think i would be able to do it until atleast next weekend but i got it done, took me and a friend of mine about an hour and a half... we had to run back and forth to the store because we kept forgetting things like more tubing, then some ATF fluid and other items... but hey we got it done, looks good... and feels like its working, the oil cooler is warm so i know that fluid is running threw it total cost start to finish was about $42, the cooler itself was like $35 from ebay and the extra tubing i needed, since original wasnt long enough, was $7, heres a pic...

I forgot to add this to my previous post... I really was interested in knowing how you guys installed it, how your setup was. There is a couple ways to set it up. The way i did it was, the transmission oil actually gets "double cooled" the out pipe from tranny goes to the radiator, then out from radiator to tranny cooler, from tranny cooler back to the transmission... so it first gets cooled by the radiator and then by the Hayden cooler i installed then goes back to the tranny. How many of you guys did it this way?
Only because I did not know at the time if there is enough pressure in the fluid line that would support hooking up an additional cooler to the radiator. But I dont have any problem with mine so far, so I'm gonig to leave it the way it is
