yes, this has come up several times before. there are people here that claim SRT made there car slower on the bottom torque curve. Also, some people claim that a K&N kit worked better than SRT after S&S headers. i had K&N and loved its performance, but hatted the way it looked. i also had Akimoto which it's a cool looking intake because it's polish stainless. I also had SRT, but i never got to use it because i did not have the ECU, so i can not give an opinion on it. all i can say its a heavy expensive intake that for some reason people really like. I guess it must be good, However; there has been people that dyno the car after SRT CAI was installed and did not get the HP and TQ results SRT claims. people also stay away from SRT because it's not CARB approved, so bottom line search and get what best fits you.

I didn'tknow you had a Akimotointake. How did you like it, and how did it perform in your opinion?

honestly; i liked the K&N better, but realy hated that it was plastic. it feelt like the K&N had more of a kick on low and top, but thats just me. the akimoto pipe is the same size of the stock tube, so low end should be better . if it was not for K&N being plastic, i would not be selling it. i have a custom set up on the works, so the akimoto will also be for sale in the near future.
