Default Just installed K&n intake

Installed the intake and drove around and had a vsc light come on and check engine light come on . Went to a friends house and a few hours later all the lights where off , so I was assuming this was the computer re adjusting to the mod . Just wondering if that was normal that is all thanks

I don't think it's normal to have those lights come on after installing the intake. When I had my LMS intake, I got no lights when I did the install and that intake is very similar to the Fujita/Injen/K&N intakes. I guess if the lights don't come back on then you should be fine. I would just check your MAF to make sure you have it in properly and also check that you have no leaks around your intake pipe fittings.

I guess u didnt disconnect the batery while installing the intake. The same thing happened when i installed HID's and had to disconnect the sensor from the intake. The same thing happened (warning lights) and after few hours it was gone. There's nothing wrong just needs time to reset.

Those lights are usually caused by trying to start the car without the MAF sensor connected. There's no need to disconnect the battery again - just make sure the MAF sensor is connected and drive the car for a few minutes. The lights will go away.

Thats weird, I have installed and uninstalled my intake several times and I have never had an issue with it. Like javyLSU said, make sure your MAF sensor is connected properly. GL!

Id unplug the battery, clean the MAF with MAF cleaner, then put it back together. dont have anything to loose
