Non-OEM Rubber Transmission Gasket - Any experience using one??

Recently replaced my transmission gasket with a non oem rubber gasket. I have done this before I found the lexus liquid gasket to be a pain in the *** and very messy. Anyone else using one?

are you talking about the pan gasket? not sure exactly how much fluid comes out when you remove the pan, but 3.5 quarts is a lot. mine takes about 2 quarts when I do a drain/refill.

I think the Rubber Gasket is going to work fine -- No issues

I'm sure someone knows this off the top of their head, but whats the transmission fluid capacity on the gs400?

I think the total capacity is like 7 quarts or something like that, but the drain/refill is only 2 quarts or so.

question -- what model/part number did you use for the gasket? where did you get it? I can't seem to find one anywhere for the 650e transmission??
