Default Tanabe exhaust moves too much!

I finally installed my Tanabe exhaust but noticed that it moves too much. I observed this when my friend was driving my car and i was driving his. I also noticed this when I still had my oem exhaust. Do you guys have this problem? any fix for this? Thanks

its suppose to flex. the exhaust hangers r rubber so it will flex. the exhaust will flex to avoid stress on the hanger and whole exhaust system which will prevent bending, cracking, warping, etc. when the exhaust pipes heat up.

if you dont want it to move they can put a harder hanger or weld it with a piece of metal so it doesnt move. personally I wouldnt worry about it too much

i noticed the stock exhaust moves a lot as well. I wouldn't mind some stiffer hangers either.

I doubt stiffer hangers would help, since the hangers do more swinging than stretching.

Maybe you could add some kind substance to the inside of the hangers. Depending on what you think of using this should increase the friction so the hangers don't swing as much. Or maybe you stretched them out when installing the new exhaust. (if that's even possible) I guess I'll find out tomorrow when I install my Tanabe.

Maybe its the WD40 which is causing it to swing too much

Since the Tanabe uses the same hangers as the original I would guess the original swings just as much but no one noticed. I really like my Tanabe, just what I wanted.

Aloha
