Default redesigned AEM intake

when will this be out?? i wanted to do the AEM w/ APexi super AFC-R combo, but i want the redesigned intake instead..

anybody know???

If you call and ask AEM, they will deny any knowledge of a redesigned intake for the IS300.

I know of their redesigned intake..Actually i coulda had it, as i be ther tester IS, but i passed it over to my friend, cuz i already have one.
Oh And DPat, from a while ago, i have my clear bumpers, and clear trunks in...and i luv it.

wut up dave? i get my car back from AEM tomorrow(friday) and hopefully everything is all good. they told me that they were putting in a heat shield and an intake. i was one of the doods with the AEM intake problem with the check engine light...but i thought that i would give this a try, since its for free ill post again once i get my car back and let you all know what the deal is with this "new design".

ok i got my car back today..yey finally...but they told me that there is still a problem with the ecu...so they are making a type of "black box" they said. once the "new design" is out, i will be one of the first with it...and they gave me a letter telling me that i get one for free. yippee! ill post again once i get any other new info on it.

dood...i get the intake for free and my car was only gone for a week, AND they payed $375 for a rental.
