Well, that was my last setup, ive since reverted back to the stock k&n intake setup. And no, I did not have to remove the bumper. Filter was accessible through wheel well and undercarriage.

Well, I got a CEL, a Po171 code and I thought it was due to this setup so I switched bsck. Only to find the light to come back on. I never got a chance to changing it back. It was pretty cool though. Had almost like a turbo feel to it where it would be a LITTLE laggy and then hit hard all at once iirc.

Hi, guys. I,m from Russia, and have a few questions about intakes.
Is it possible to install plug and play gs400 k&n intake to GS430? 1uz and 3uz engines are just already similar.
I tried to find on ebay cold air intake with 'metal plate' (i don't know exactly how it translates on inglish) for my GS but I can't. The one and only I found was k&n for GS400, but in description was written that it is not suitable for 430.
PS. sorry for my english ))) and thanks for answers.

The gs400 will not work on the GS430. Plus, the intakes don't really do much but create extra noise. I don't think they are worth it - ymmv.
