Cold air intake sucking in hot air.
do yu guys have any solution to the cold air intakes sucking in hot air? I have a k&n typhone on my 2011 is250 with the heat shield. I notice when I go to work at like 3am my car drives better with better throttle response than during the day when its hot out. My theory is that at 3am the air is much cooler than during the day and that's why it has a better response. Please Correct me if im worng and also is there is a solution to this problem? thanks

The only real ones are Darkstars CAI and in the future PPE's.
Here's my review.

Darkstar did a lot of test on this intake and its well worth the money vs the Hot sucking SRAI with heat shields that still suck hot air.

colder air always helps the vehicle perform better.
Unfortunately in this heat ( for example in California) right now its very hard to have your vehicle breath cold air even with a heat shield.
a good option is a intake that is both a cold air and short ram.

Especially for the Ultimate Performance Air Intake It actually gets cold air from the brake duct vent from the front bumper.
