Default Cat-Back Exhaust Gs 400

This maybe a dumb question but without doing a custom exhaust is there a company that makes a catback exhaust for the GS400? I thought they only made them for the 300... I like to get a little more sound without going to crazy.. I know Teelex and Hameed has the custom exhausts but that maybe to much.. Thanks

Tony

all exhausts (cat back) are compatible between gs400 and gs300. my apexi is actually from a gs300

it's the b pipe (and forward) that's different between the two cars

Thanks Rominl i should have known that since all GS's models have the same lay out when it comes to the exhaust Is yours a cat-back system? I assume i would get more of a sporty sound with the cat -back vs. the rear section.. I really enjoy the Blitz but a more sporty sound with it being a hint louder would be nice..

Thanks

TF

tmf2004 if you cut out your resonators you will get a better more aggressive sound.

It shouldn't throw a CEL at all. As far as I know, there are no sensor(s) after the cat. Think of the resonator as a muffler I haven't heard of anyone having CEL problem after getting their resontators removed.

http://www.l-tunedparts.com/model/st...id=9&cat_id=10 This where I purchased my Carson Tuned Exhaust and they also have a great selection of great exhausts out there. . . Here is from the EOS meet with the V8 Exhaust competition so you can better choose what type of sound you want http://www.lgwnorcal.com/videos/index.html#null

I have the Borla rear section and I had the resonators removed and a Magnaflo X-section put it. Sounds great now!

Did you feel any power increase with the magnaflow x-section? How much did it cost for the whole project (minus the borla rear section). Lastly, how loud is it?

I think I did actually gain a few hp with the X-section. The X-section costs $79 from Jegs and the shop charged $100 to re-do the piping. I will try to get a good video this weekend.
