That's menech's car... I heard it in person at EOS a couple of months ago. Very nice - it's also got the Team Lexus logo engraved on the top of the tip, but since it's tucked so close to the rear skirt you can't see it very well. It's LOUD. Very intimidating sound. He said he also gets a fair amount of cabin drone too. That's all I know - maybe Baptiste can chime in if he sees this thread.

kind of exotic sounding.

i hate the sound clips of cars revving in idle to show of the sound of an exhaust. it sounds different when you are actually moving.

 

Yeah..but it gives you an idea. It definitely has a deeper bassier tone when driving.

 

haha i was so mad when i didn't get this because i was too late. but after having the tanabe, i guess anything else would be too loud for me. nevertheless, the exhaust looks great (i like the team lexus stamp), sounds great (as long as it's not on my car), and it's one of a kind.

I guess I would be the authority on that being that we sold it to him. It is the only Team Lexus/Borla exhaust for the 350.

was it made with off the shelf borla parts? is it something someone could make themselves at a muffler shop?

 

That exhaust was the prototype for the Team Lexus/Borla exhaust for the 250s/350s. I'm sure Borla will still come out with an awesome exhaust, but not with the T/L name branded on it.

Yeah I would like to market the kit. But given the current situation with the team, who knows.
