Without FI, nothing will take you close to '06 ES. Switch to GS400 or GS430 that might be cheaper than upgrading GS300

Most would probably go Turbo. Maybe losing the 20" wheels or getting lighter wheels can help you out a little. I have 20's and when they come off boy goes my gas go DOWN. Its because I feel the car takes off better so Im ALWAYS gunning it. Good luck though.

both will run you at least 5k, it will probably cost more like 6-7k after tuning and labor.

plus, you must realize that your engine must be in top condition, else running a supercharger or turbo will just give you alot of problems

its really not worth it unless you have a daily beater car, and are planning to be able to have the gs3 in the shop somtimes for maint.

the problem is that, the gs is a relatively heavy car, and the gs300 engine is what it is.

even if you get headers, catback, intake, ecu, tc...you still wont be that much faster, and you will be a few thousand poorer.

unless you go FI, its not really gonna make the situation better.

you COULD do a aristo engine swap =), then you would kick ***, but thats alot of work and money as well.
