Default Stock Exhaust Tips

Has anyone tried removing the stock exhaust tips? It doesn't look like it is welded on. If you know how, please share. Thanks.

I took it off when I installed my kit. Basically wiggled it left and right until it came out. can't remember if there was a bolt or not holding it tho.
