would absolutely do it again!! I think the Tanabe is a perfect match w/ the IS. Only gripe would be the HP gains, but a more open exhaust is gonna make it louder. I'm very happy with mine.
When I pickup my IS at the end of the month this is something I am also considering doing. Its sounds as if the exhaust is well worth the 550 (or so) price tag.
My added question to this thread is did anyone do the bolt-on themselves? I have access to everything I would need to do the exhaust system at my father-in-laws but if the system has any installation "quirks" it would be nice to know ahead of time.

Does that mean you don't feel a difference in power??
gains are decent because its resonator back, if the stock exhaust system allowed cat back it would have more gains and better sound, isnt tanabe around 700ish, thats not bad

I don't think so, I took the mid pipe off and the resonators are straight through, like a glass pack, so I don't think they offer much resistance.

To be honest, I felt no difference. The sound may make you "think" it's faster, but i doubt anyone can really "feel" the estimated 4-7 hp gain from this.
Oh, and I had my local shop do the install when they did the springs.

Thanks dude,
I'll use my money toward suspension, I want a little more power not noise
