Does anyone know if the E-Shift can go to the first gear.. my car refuse to down shift to first gear.. even if the car is not moving..

My dealer in Boston does not know anything..(even reprogram to turn off the DRL or Stop sun roof from auto open)..

Can the E-Shift down to 1 like a bmw tiptronic?

Anyone can help? or I have problem with my car?

You cannot e-shift into 1st gear. The only way you can hold it in first gear is to manually pull the shifter down to 2 and then move it to the right for 1st gear. When you want 2nd gear you just move the shift lever to the left.

 

? I'm confused here-- I thought with the E-shift at 2, the car actually starts in first and then auto-shifts into second and stays there.

You are correct, except, it will shift to 3rd automatically when the RPMs hit the rev limiter
